ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.12.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 123,275 of BNS and Sections 7(1), 20(2) of COTPA Act in Crime No.1248 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/4
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 24.105 kgs of banned tobacco products. Hence, this case.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a false case has been registered against the petitioner and he is in judicial custody from 13.12.2025 He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are twenty four previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and also taking note of the fact that there are twenty four previous case pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
