Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of parties, the writ

petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 17.11.2017, wherein and whereby, he sought for restoration of the electricity service connection in respect of the lands comprising in Survey No.46/5 of Suramangalam Village, Salem Taluk, Sub-registration District of Salem.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents 1 to 3 so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.11.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents 2 & 3 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
