ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.12.2019 and consequently effect the name transfer in the name of the legal heirs of the deceased V.Saraswathi with regard to 5.50 acres of land in Survey No.321/2B, Theethipaalayam Village, Coimbatore South Taluk, Thondamutthur Sub Register Office, Coimbatore registration district within a stipulated time.

The petitioner submitted representation dated 09.12.2019 for mutation of revenue records in the name of the legal heirs of the deceased V.Saraswathi with regard to the property comprised in S.No.321/2B ad-measuring to an extent of 5.50 acres situated at Theethipaalayam Village, Coimbatore District. In fact, this Court by an order dated 29.01.2020 directed the respondent to complete the enquiry and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

file report. However, even till today, the respondent failed to comply the direction issued by this Court and application for mutation of revenue records is kept pending.

Considering the above, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation of the petitioner dated 09.12.2019, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, with regard to mutation of revenue records in the name of the legal heirs of the deceased V.Saraswathi in respect of the property comprised in S.No.321/2B ad-measuring to an extent of 5.50 acres situated at Theethipaalayam Village, Coimbatore District, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
