Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Praying, to direct the respondents to conduct further investigation based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 25.12.2020 and file the final report against the named persons in the complaint 25.12.2020.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to conduct further investigation based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 25.12.2020 and file the final report.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that despite the F.I.R. has been registered in Crime No.938 of 2020 the investigation has not been completed and final report has also not been filed.

3. Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that this is a case of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

theft in a house. Though the respondent police has taken every steps to secure the accused, the identity of the accused is not established.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents.

5. This Court is of the view that when the accused is not detected , there cannot be a direction to file the final report immediately. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file the final report.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
