ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.14 of 2016 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Team IV, EDF II, Chennai. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation was completed and a final report was filed on 12.03.202o before the Special Court for CCB, CBCID cases, Egmore and the final report has not been taken cognizance. 3.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of with a direction to the Special Court for CCB, CBCID cases, Egmore, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final report filed by the respondent police, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. Consequently, the

connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
