The dispute between the petitioners and the fourth respondent is with regard to a land, which is claimed to be a Government Land. In this connection, the petitioners have also approached this Court earlier by way of two Writ Petitions and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in W.P.No.12094 of 2015, an order came to be passed on 23.04.2015, directing the Revenue Officials to take further proceedings on the petitioner's complaint. The proceedings are now pending before the Revenue Officials. In this connection, the petitioners have filed the present petition seeking for police protection stating that their life is under threat.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that there is no threat to the life of the petitioners and if at all there is a real life threat, it is always open to them to approach the respondent police .

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
