This application is filed by the fourth defendant to condone the delay of 391 days in filing the written statement in C.S.No.231 of 2022.

2.Heard both sides and perused the averments in the affidavit filed in support of the application.

3.This Court vide order dated 21.12.2023 in C.S.No.231 of 2022 granted time to the defendants 1 to 6 and 8 to 11 to file written statement subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- each to the Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai.

4.Now the learned counsel appearing for the defendants 4, 10 and 11 submits that they had paid the cost and filed the written statement.
