When the matter was listed for hearing on 10.07.2023, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had passed away due to

Covid-19 and requested time to bring the legal heirs on record. Again when the matter was listed on 26.02.2024 there was no representation for the petitioner and no petition is filed to bring the legal heirs on record till date, hence Registry was directed to list the matter on 28.02.2024 under the caption "for dismissal". When the matter was called today i.e., 28.02.2024, none represented on behalf of the petitioner and as such the matter shall stand dismissed as having abated.

2. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
