ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) of TNP Act and Sections 468, 471, 420 of IPC r/w Sections 7 and 11 of R.S. Rules 2000 (Transporting) in Crime No.983 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 18.12.2021 the respondent police conducting regular vehicle checkup, at that time they found that one TAVERA car, while carrying 140 Litters of ID arrack and same was seized by the respondent police from A4. After receiving the confession statement from the said A4 the respondent police seized 2112 empty brandy bottles and labels, cap filling mission from some other accused. A4 given a confession statement before the respondent police. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that 17 previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, there is 17 previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
