Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondent and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner's prayer is for a mandamus simplicitor for consideration of its representation for re-connection of electricity supply to its factory in respect of HT SC No.019094042148.

3. Mr.Jai Venkatesh states that re-connection of electricity is not liable to be considered, since the petitioner is in substantial arrears of charges.

4. In such circumstances, it is for the respondent to communicate the same to the petitioner and also consider other pleas that have been set out in representation dated 02.12.2023 including the request for settlement of arrears in instalments.

5. It is made clear that the authorities are at liberty to decide the representation in accordance with law and all prevailing Rules and Regulations, though after hearing the petitioner, within a period of six (6) weeks from today. Pg.No.2/4
