This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first respondent to produce all the list of witness as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months to secure all evidence in C.C.No.490 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram, Chennai.

2.Heard Mr.M.Antony Jesurajan, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mrs.P.Kritika kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing on behalf of the first respondent.

Taking into account, the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the charge sheet was taken on file in the year 2017, there is no much progress in the proceedings and also taking into account, the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) that there are 15 witnesses to be examined.

4. In view of the submissions of both counsels, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram, Chennai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.490 of 2017. 5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands ordered.
