This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the learned Assistant Sessions Judge (Sub Judge), Hosur to dispose of the case in S.C.No.42 of 2016 within a specified time frame.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case was made over by the learned Principal Sessions Judge to the learned Assistant Sessions Judge (Sub Judge), Hosur, on 30.03.2016 and even after a period of 11 months, the prosecution / respondent police has not produced any witness to get along with the trial. Stating so, he prayed for a direction to the learned Assistant Sessions Judge (Sub Judge), Hosur to dispose of the case in S.C.No.42 of 2016 within a specified time frame. 3.Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondent.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Assistant Sessions Judge (Sub Judge), Hosur is directed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to dispose of the case in S.C.No.42 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
