ORDER

(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The petition is filed by the mother of the detenue seeking production of the detenue by name Selvi.

2. Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that the detenue has married one Janakiraman, S/o Krishnan, residing at No.4/53, Anna Nagar, Sombattu, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District and in support of the same, the marriage certificate issued in support of the registration of marriage is produced. The detenue Selvi has also given a statement before the concerned police stating that she was in love with Janakiraman and on account of that, the petitioner herein stopped her studies and in order to avoid marriage with somebodyelse, she went out of the parental house and, thereafter, she has married Janakiraman. The petitioner herein has also given a statement before the police that she came to know about the marriage and, therefore she is willing to withdraw the complaint.

3. Recording the statement of the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor and taking into account the materials, including the statement of the petitioner herein, we find that nothing survives for consideration in this petition, accordingly, this habeas corpus petition is closed.
