Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing (i) 4th respondent to order an inquiry over Light with us Education Society, Reg.No.112/1991 of Chennai South, 6th respondent under Section 36 of Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and to present the report of inquiry and action taken in accordance with the same Act before this Court within the time frame for further proceedings (ii) 2nd respondent to initiate departmental inquiry on the charges of forgery of registered documents and the charges of false entries made in the Registers of Societies at the District Registrar Office, Chennai South engaged in by Light With Us Education Society with the active help of Mr.
Narayanamurthy, 5th respondent and to present the report of inquiry and action taken before this Court within the specific time frame for further proceedings (iii) 3rd respondent to complete the on-going inquiry of corruption held as per Notice No.3740/M2/2011-1, dated 29.07.2011 of the office of the same respondent and to present the report of inquiry and action taken before this Court within the specific time frame for further proceedings (iv) 2nd respondent or alternatively the Jurisdictional Metropolitan Magistrate to initiate criminal proceedings against the 5th respondent and all the seven signatories of the impugned Bye-law Amendment of Light With Us Education Society, dated 28.12.2003 by name (i) E.S.M.Sanjeeviraj (ii) E.A.Prem Kumar (iii) P.Selvi (iv) Nirmala Rajendran (v) A.Rita (vi) A.S.J.Aloysius Devadoss and (vii) S.
Arul Selvam under Section 466 of IPC.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the (i) 4th respondent to order an inquiry over the 6th respondent under Section 36 of Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and to present the report of inquiry and action taken in accordance with the same (ii) 2nd respondent to initiate departmental inquiry on the charges of forgery of registered documents and the charges of false entries made in the Registers of Societies at the District Registrar Office, Chennai South engaged in by the 6th respondent with the active help of 5th respondent and to present the report of inquiry and action taken before this Court (iii) 3rd respondent to complete the on-going inquiry of corruption held as per Notice No.3740/M2/2011-1, dated 29.07.

2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 09.07.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition was directed to be posted today under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. The writ petition was filed in the year 2012 and it appears that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute this writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
