Today, when the matter is listed for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that, subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the petitioners were dismissed from service and the dismissal order has been challenged by way of filing a writ petition before this court. Therefore, he submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication.

2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
