PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to consider the above facts and circumstances of the case and permit the petitioner/de-facto complainant to withdraw her complaint dated 15.03.2019 in the above case in Crime No.2 of 2019 which is on the file of the first respondent police W-29, All Women Police Station, Avadi, Chennai - 600054.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to permit the petitioner/de-facto complainant to withdraw her complaint dated 15.03.2019 in the above case in Crime No.2 of 2019 pending on the file of the first respondent / Police.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, has submitted that the Investigation has been completed and further action has been dropped and hence this Criminal Original Petition itself has become infructuous.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned Court in the manner known to law.
