O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation made by the petitioner on 09.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for cancellation of the patta that stands in the name of the 5th respondent.

2.Heard Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 4.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is in absolute possession and enjoyment of the subject property for which house site patta was issued. However, during sub division, the patta was issued in the name of the 5th respondent. In view of the same, the petitioner submitted a representation before the 1st respondent to cancel the patta issued in the name of the 5th respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this 2/4

Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation dated 09.12.2024 after affording opportunity to the 5th respondent and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
