Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, Directing the respondents 1 to 4 to survey the lands in S.F.No.160/1A in the Moongiltholuvu Village in Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District that have been vested with the 1st respondent / Parambikulam Aliyar Project Executive Engineer (PAP) through which the PAP irrigation sub-canal flows and to remove the encroachments made by the 5th respondent and ensure unhindered flow of water for irrigation and the canal bunds based on the recommendations of the 3rd respondent in his proceeding in O.Mu.No.1732/2023/A1 dated 09.05.2023 and the 1st respondent in his letter No.Tho.Nu.Pi/Va.A/Ko.14/ILOM/2023 dated 26.04.2023. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.M.Purushothaman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that within a period of two months, survey would be conducted and depending upon the report of the survey, steps would be undertaken immediately in accordance with law.
