This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.535 of 2015 pending investigation on the file of the respondent police.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in respect of Crime No.535 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent, charge sheet has been laid and the same has been taken congnizance in CC.No.74 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Namakkal, and hence the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
