The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 281, 125, 296(b), 103, 3(5) of BNS and Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(1)(v) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1898, in Crime No.176 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

This Court after considering the merits of the case is of the view that the SC/ST Act is made out in this case and Section 18 A is bar to the maintainability of the anticipatory bail petition. In view of the same, when the earlier bail application is dismissed on 18.12.2025, this second anticipatory bail is also not maintainable.
