PRAYER : Petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order passed in W.M.P.No.9380/2018 in W.P.No.7538/2018, dated 02.04.2018 on the file of this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court, dated 02.04.2018 in W.M.P.No.9380/2018 in W.P.No.7538/2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondents have not taken any action subsequent to the order of this Court and the same is disobeyed.

3. On the other hand, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submitted that the respondents lodged a complaint against the encroachers and based on the complaint, a criminal case was registered against the accused. Consequently, one accused was arrested and some were granted anticipatory bail.

4. It is further submitted that the issue of construction of shop on the platform, is pending before the Division Bench of this Court.

5. Considering the above fact, it is seen that the petitioner has not established any violation of the order of this Court dated 02.04.2018. Hence, the contempt petition is dismissed.
