This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners for appointment as
Secondary Grade Teachers in Tamil Medium and Bilingual Schools in accordance with their Seniority of registration in the Employment Exchange and appoint them as Secondary Grade Teachers in any of the Tamil Medium and Bilingual Schools.
2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. It is seen that now, the Recruitment Rules have been changed and accordingly, the petitioners should have passed Teacher Eligibility Test.
4. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered and this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. 17.08.2023 Internet : Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking order/Non-speaking order mn
