Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein (i.e.) The RDO, the District Collector, The Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition) to pay compensation towards land acquisition the petitioner's land property comprised in Survey No.448/3 of Jamnunampet Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Sriperumbudur District bearing Plot No.119 in VGP Mount View Main measuring 2400 sq.ft., on considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.3.2016 and 5.7.2016 within a stipulated period of time.

ORDER

The petitioner claims to be the owner of the land covered in Survey No.448/3 of Jamunampet Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, Sriperumbudur District bearing Plot No.119 measuring 2400 sq.ft., under a sale deed dated 11.7.89 from vendor power agent M/s V.G.P.Investment represented by its partner V.G.P.Rajadar. The petitioner also states that she was in absolute possession and enjoyment of the same till the land was acquired for the development of SIPCOT project. But her grievance is that till date, the respondents have not come forward to deposit the award https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

amount. Therefore, a representation was made. But the same did not evoke any response. Hence the petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents to dispose of her representation.

2. The learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought four weeks time to dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the pending representation of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
