This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.12 of 2024 from the second respondent police station to the CBCID, Chennai by considering the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that pursuant to the registration of FIR in Crime No.12 of 2024, the second respondent had completed the investigation and filed a final report in C.C.No.149 of 2024 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kelvelur, Nagapattinam.

4. Therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the second respondent and the question of transfer does not arise.
