Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in Memo No.399/BCDFGISSSV/2021 passed by the second respondent on 31.12.2021, on the file of the second respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to produce petitioner son Ashok Son of Sankar aged about 24 years, before this Court who now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal-II, and set him liberty. ORDER

S.VAIDYANATHAN, J., A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J., The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo No.399/BCDFGISSSV/2021 dated 31.12.2021, detaining his son as "GOONDA" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1874, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 05.04.2022 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
