This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to provide adequate police protection for surveying the petitioner's property based on the representation dated 07.11.2023.

2. Heard Mr.G.Mohammed Aseef, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of first respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2023 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2023 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
