O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to provide police protection to the property of the petitioner, where an IMFL shop No.4019 has been successfully opened on 09.01.2021 by virtue of the order passed by the District Manager of TASMAC Ltd., Kancheepuram (North).
2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property and he had permitted the TASMAC to open the shop. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is a regular law and order problem that is created by some antisocial elements and as a result of the same, there is a danger to the property. The further grievance of the petitioner is that a representation was also given to the District Manager and by proceedings dated 09.01.2021, a direction has been given to approach the police in order to provide adequate protection to run the IMFL shop. According to the petitioner, the situation has not improved and hence a complaint was given on 19.01.2021 seeking for police protection for the property in which the IMFL shop is being run. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.
