JUDGMENT

The present appeal has been filed by the insurance company challenging the quantum of compensation awarded by the Tribunal in the award dated 26.03.2012 made in MCOP No.5836 of 2004 on the file of Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (V Judge, Court of Small Causes) at Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the appellant Insurance Company, and perused the impugned award passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal (V Judge, Court of Small Causes), Chennai, whereby the Tribunal awarded a sum of Rs.96,500/- as compensation on account of the injuries sustained by the claimant-first respondent. Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed.

No costs.
