(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to call for the records relating to detention order passed in BCDFGISSSV No.306 of 2017, dated 27.05.2017, by the detaining authority against the detenu, by name Mani @ Manikandan, aged 24, Son of Sankar, residing at No.34, Vadivel Street, Jafferkhanpet, Chennai-600 083 and quash the same.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the detention order in question has already been quashed and to that effect a copy of the order in G.O.Rt.No.3314, dated 05.07.2017, is submitted, wherein it is stated to the effect that the detention order passed against the detenu is quashed. 4.Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous and therefore, the present petition deserves to be dismissed.
