detention order issued by the second respondent herein in C.O.C.No.42/2024 dated 22.12.2024 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the detenue namely Sundaramoorthy @ Nondi Sundaramoorthy, aged 61 years, the father of the petitioner herein, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith from the third respondent prison viz., the Central Prison Tiruchirapalli. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.492, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 31.01.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
