ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property Page No.1 of 4
morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's on-line application, dated 19.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the petitioner's on-line application, dated 19.11.2025 referred to supra has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the said authority is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which the petitioner claims that it is owned by her, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any third party as they deem fit, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the respondent to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's on-line application, dated 19.11.2025, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the respondent deems fit to enquire. If police assistance is required, the respondent is permitted to obtain the same by giving a representation to the police department and the police department shall act accordingly by granting police assistance. The respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
