This application is filed under Order XIV Rule 8 of O.S. Rules r/w. Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 to direct the 2nd respondent granishee not to make payments due to the 1st respondent for supply of electricity by the 1st respondent of an amount equivalent to the sum awarded under the Arbitral Award dated 04.02.2015 being the sum of Rs.21,82,00,368/- [Rupees Twenty one Crores Eighty Two Lakhs Three Hundred Sixty Eight only] (as on 05.02.2015) and make over such payment to the applicant.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous.

3. The learned counsel for the applicant made an endorsement to that effect in this application.
