Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents herein to rectify the mistake admittedly committed by them by restoring the entries in the revenue records pertaining to Survey No. 470/A2 of Kallapuram Village of Udumalpet Taluk, Tirupur District as patta lands under Patta No. 625 instead of government lands within the time frame.

Mr. Annai Ezhil, Learned Government Advocate takes notice for the Respondents.

2.The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondents to rectify the mistake admittedly committed by them by restoring the entries in the revenue records pertaining to Survey No. 470/A2 of Kallapuram Village of Udumalpet Taluk, Tirupur District as patta land under patta No. 625 instead of government land.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that action has been taken in this regard and proposal would be been sent to the District Collector, Tiruppur through the Revenue Divisional Officer, Udumalpet to include the name of the Petitioner in the joint patta No. 625 (S.F. No. 470/A2) of Kallapuram Village records and the same correction would be carried out in the computer chitta within a period of four weeks and computer chitta including the name of the Petitioner in S.F. No. 420/A2 of patta No. 625 of Kallapuram Village, Udumalpet Taluk would be issued to the Petitioner. The said submission is placed on record. Report of such compliance shall be filed before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court by 17.03.2020.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
