ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the Joint Commissioner, Ministry of Home Affairs (Citizenship) to hear and dispose of the Revision Petition dated 02.04.2012 at an early date.

2. Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. As of now, nothing survives in this writ petition. Even then, this Court disposes the writ petition with an observation that the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 02.04.2012 to be disposed of by the 4th respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, if not disposed of earlier, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
