Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 07.01.2021 in Memo No.C3/D.O.No.01/2021 against the petitioner's husband Krishnan S/o.Sivalingam, aged 35 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu Krishnan S/o.Sivalingam, aged 35 years, who has been branded as 'Drug Offender' under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in Memo No.C3/D.O.No.01/2021 dated 07.01.2021. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in Memo No.C3/D.O.No.01/2021 dated 07.01.2021 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.1018, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 27.02.2021 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
