The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in crime No.261 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pallipalayam Police Station, Namakkal District to some other appropriate investigating agency more preferably to C.B.C.I.D.
2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Namakkal in SC.No.58 of 2018, acquitted the accused on 22.10.2018. 3.In view of the above, the prayer sought for in the petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
