ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.32894 of 2016, by order dated 20.09.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.08.2016 seeking pension and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ within a period of four weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 20.09.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, by producing a copy of the proceedings dated 01.02.2017 issued by the respondent, submitted that the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order of the respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires.
