ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.Sundar, J.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 03.03.2017 and 27.03.2017.

2. The matter pertains to location of a petroleum outlet.

3. Though the prayer in the writ petition is one seeking mandamus to respondents 1 to 7 to dispose of two representations of the petitioner, at the hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner abridges his prayer and says that it would suffice if one of the two representations viz., representation dated 27.03.2017 at page No.19 of the typed set of papers is disposed of, he has also abridges his prayer regarding the respondent who has to dispose of his representation and says that it would suffice if respondent No.5 before us i.e., the Member Secretary, Coimbatore Local Planning Authority disposes of his representation dated 27.03.2017.

4. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.5 submits that respondent No.5 would dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2017.

5. Respondent No.5 (Member Secretary, Coimbatore Local Planning Authority) is therefore directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.03.2017 (page No.19 of the typed set of papers) within a fortnight from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.
