Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The first petitioner herein is a practising lawyer and all the other petitioners herein are members of a social organisation. They have gone to meet the ADSP, Vellore to lodge a complaint about the incident that had taken place. The petitioner herein apprehends that the police might have filed a criminal case against them. Apprehending arrest, the petitioners have filed this petition.

3. Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that he had spoken to the concerned Superintendent of Police and it has been clarified that with regard to the subject incident, no criminal case has been registered against any other petitioner in any other police station in Vellore District.
