Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to call for the records and quash the Police Summons dated 24.01.2015 issued by the 2nd respondent pertaining to Cr.No.1344 of 2014 Under Section 107 of Cr.P.C dated 24.08.2014 on the file of 4th respondent.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to call for the records and quash the Police Summons dated 24.01.2015 issued by the 2nd respondent pertaining to Cr.No.1344 of 2014 Under Section 107 of Cr.P.C dated 24.08.2014.

2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the present petition is the outcome of Section 107 proceedings issued by the 4th respondent pertaining to maintenance of communal harmony in the locality. It is further submitted that the issue relates to a land dispute between two individuals and the subject matter of the dispute is a temple, which has since been removed and at present, communal harmony prevails in the said locality and, therefore, this petition may be closed.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, which is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
