ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.12.2022 requesting to rectify the mistakes committed during UDR re-survey and restore the name of the petitioner's father Appasamy in the revenue records such as A register, patta, chitta etc., with respect to the lands comprised in S.Nos.59/1, 59/2, 59/3A and 59/3B, Kilravanthavadi Village, Thandarampattu Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the second respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner for rectification of the discrepancies in UDR in terms of G.O.Ms.No.385, Revenue Department dated 17.08.2004 within a time limit stipulated by this Court.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. 2/4

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.12.2022 as per the G.O.Ms.No.385, Revenue Department dated 17.08.2004. and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the respondents 5 to 9 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
