Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the matter has now become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle.

2. In view of the endorsement and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition stand dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
