[Order was delivered by R.SUBBIAH,J] The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition praying for issuance of a a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records relating to the impugned order dated 08.01.2020 made in F.No.201/VCP/Rev/2019-20/515, passed by the second respondent and to quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) filed an affidavit on behalf of the second respondent in which it is stated that the notice served to the petitioner vide F.No.201/VCP/Rev/2019-2020/515 dated 08.01.2020, which is impugned in this writ petition will be withdrawn and the respondent will issue fresh show cause notice to the petitioner calling for explanation under Sec.247(1) of Pondicherry Village and Commune Panchayat Act 1973 thereby providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. By recording the above statement of the second respondent the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
