(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) Initially the prayer made in this petition was to declare the action of the first three respondents in conveying the land and building of TANSI Foundry, Guindy, Madras owned by the Government for TANSI, as illegal, but subsequently it was amended to declare the sale deed dated 24.05.1992 executed by second respondent in favour of the fourth respondent as invalid and inoperative.

2. Learned Advocate General appearing for the first and second respondents states that the property in question stands re-conveyed and thus, the petition has become infructuous.

3. The aforesaid statement is taken on record and the petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs.
