O R D E R

When the matter came up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that the matter is settled between the parties. The petitioner/ Management herein has also sent a letter dated 11.09.2024 to the authorities concerned.

2. The relevant portion of the communication dated 11.09.2024 is extracted hereunder :

''1. We have settled our disputes with Mr.Nagalingame.

2. Both the parties have withdrawn the allegations and claims against each other.

3. Consequent to the same we do not have any objection

in disbursement of gratuity amount by the Controlling Authority to Mr.Nagalingame. The gratuity amount of Rs.3,61,170/- (Three Lakhs Sixty One Thousand One Hundred and Seventy) has been deposited with controlling authority.

4. We shall cooperate and do the needful for bringing a closure to the writ petition referred above as and when it is listed for hearing.''

3. In view thereof, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in this writ petition.

4. Recording the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
