Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking to call for the entire records pertaining to the case pending in FIR in Cr.NO. 47 of 2014 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Vellore,and quash the same insofar as petitioner's concerned.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to call for the records and to quash the proceedings as against the petitioner, FIR pending in Cr.No.25 of 2014 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Cell, DCB, Villupuram.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit the third respondent police had registered a FIR in 1/3

Crime No. 47/2014 on 30.12.2014, at the instance of the defacto complainant.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would further submit that, it would suffice, if this Court permits the petitioner to furnish the particulars before the law enforcing agency to prove her innocence and issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation within a time frame.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor concedes to the request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and on instructions, he would further submit that the investigation will be completed within the time frame fixed by this Court.

5.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, is inclined to issue direction to the law enforcing agency to complete the investigation in Crime No.47 of 2014, after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the law enforcing agency for early completion of the investigation.
