When the matter was taken up for hearing on 23.01.2020, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence the matter was directed to be listed on 29.01.2020 under the caption 'for dismissal'.
Accordingly, today i.e. 29.01.2020 the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal", but, when the matter is called for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even though the petition is pending from the year 2013 without any progress and the matter is listed under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner and hence this Court has no other way except to dismiss the same for non prosecution.
This criminal original petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
