O R D E R
1. The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 17.04.2018.
2. According to the petitioner, he is a visually challenged person and he is running a bunk shop in wooden cart at Naduvankarai and he has given a representation to the respondents to permit him to run a bunk shop for his livelihood. The above representation was sent as early as on 17.04.2018, but, so far no order has been passed by the respondents. 3. I have heard the rival submissions made by Mr.S.Senthil Vel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mrs.Ramya Revathi, learned Government Pleader for 1st respondent and Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned Standing Counsel for 2nd respondent.
4. Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's has to necessarily send representation to the Chairman of Zonal Vending Committee of Town-8. If the petitioner submits a fresh representation before the said committee, the same will be considered.
5. Considering the fact that only the Zonal Vending Committee of Town-8 is empowered to consider the application, the petitioner is hereby directed to submit his representation before the Zonal Vending Committee within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. On filing such representation, the said Committee is directed to consider his application and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks.
6. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
