BHARATHIDASAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.1657 of 2021 IN CRL OP.15738/2020 SHAFEEQ AHMED [ PETITIONER ] Vs THE STATE REP BY, [ RESPONDENT ] THE SUB-INSPECTOR OF POLICE, ALL WOMEN POLICE STATION, TAMBARAM, CHENGALPATTU DISTRICT.

(CRIME NO.5 OF 2020) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition in respect of the condition that in Para No.6(b) the petitioner shall report before the respondent daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Monday and Friday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders imposed in the order dated 06/10/2020 made in Crl.O.P.No.15738 of 2020 by appeciating the above stated facts.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. M.GURUPRASAD, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.S.KARTHIKEYAN, ADDITIONAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- (This case has been heard through video conference) This application is filed to relax the condition imposed by this Court against the petitioner directing him to report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Monday and Friday at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the petitioner is regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.15738 of 2020, dated 06.10.2020.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition already imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.15738 of 2020, dated 06.10.2020, is modified and the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police as and when required.

5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
