Petitions praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to [i] amend the Crime Number as 2252 of 2020 and offences mentioned in the above mentioned CRL.OP.NO.16905 of 2020 as Section 385, 403, 420, 120B of Indian Penal Code Act instead of Crime not Known on the file of the respondent police and section 420 Indian Penal code filed in Crl.OP.No.16905 of 2020 [IN CRL.MP.NO.1016 OF 2021] [ii] extend the time limit for executing the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in Crl.OP.No.16905 of 2020 dated 23.10.2020. [IN CRL.MP.NO.1017 OF 2021] Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.VELMURUGAN, Advocate [in Both the Petitions] for the petitioner, and of MR.L.CHARLES PREM KUMAR Govt. Advocate ( Crl.

Side) [[in Both the Petitions] on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- When the anticipatory bail petition was moved with the averment that crime number not known and the petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Section 420 I.P.C., this Court considered the averments and granted anticipatory bail.

3. Now these petitions are filed for extension of time as well as to amend the Crime No. as 2252 of 2020 and sections 385, 403, 420, 120B of I.P.C. wherein it is stated that the respondent police has registered a case against the petitioner under Crime No.2252 of 2020 for the alleged offences under sections 385, 403, 420, 120B of I.P.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The offences for which the case registered against the petitioner is not the same for which the anticipatory bail granted earlier. In such circumstances this Court is of the view that the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh anticipatory bail application before the appropriate Court mentioning the crime number and the offences alleged, instead of seeking amendment and extension of time.
